Reject
Rejecting a draft asks for a category and an optional note (for example "pull the tone back about 20%"). The draft moves to the Blocked / rejected column and stays in your workspace, and the reason is recorded as a lesson that future drafts read — so rejecting with a clear note genuinely changes what comes next.
Archive
Archiving hides a draft from the board without removing anything. View archived drafts lists them and any archived draft can be unarchived. It is the right choice for a post you may want back, and the only option for a post that is live or whose publish was attempted.
Delete
Deleting is permanent: it removes the post, its generated images and video, and their files from storage, and can't be undone. You can delete drafts that are awaiting review, rejected, approved or scheduled (deleting a scheduled draft cancels the publish). What remains is one audit entry recording who deleted it, when, and what state it was in — not the content. Two refusals you may see:
- "This post is live on its platform (or a publish was attempted)" — we can't retract it there, so archive it, or delete it on the platform itself.
- "This post is locked by a publish attempt that's running right now" — wait a few seconds and try again; if it publishes in the meantime it can only be archived.
On Weekly plan, deleting a plan removes the plan and every post generated from it, except posts that already published.
Deleting your whole workspace
On Privacy, a workspace owner or admin enters the email they sign in with; we email it a confirmation link; once confirmed, the whole workspace — content, contacts, connected platforms and the data received from them, files and billing records — is deleted within 30 days. Every step is audit-logged, and you can cancel an unconfirmed request from the list on the same page.
To remove only one platform's data, disconnect it on Connections. Someone who is not a member of your workspace — a contact, a newsletter subscriber, someone who commented on your post — can ask us directly by email; see Delete your data.
