Your own photos in Compose
On Compose, upload a product photo, screenshot, portrait, moodboard or short clip — up to 5 assets (images up to 10 MB as PNG, JPEG or WebP; video up to 100 MB and 60 seconds as MP4, MOV or WebM). Pappus reads what's in it, writes three post angles grounded in your media, and turns the upload into post-ready visuals. Uploads are honoured on LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook and blog posts; newsletters, lead magnets and landing pages don't take them, so the widget is hidden there.
- A product photo or headshot becomes a designed ad slide with your headline; for a person, upload 3–5 clear, well-lit, front-facing photos of the same person for the strongest likeness.
- Tick Make a multi-slide carousel (LinkedIn, Instagram) to get slides styled to match your upload; with video on (LinkedIn, Instagram, X) the upload becomes the video's first frame.
- If a run refuses an upload, the message says why: the asset hadn't finished processing (
reference_asset_not_ready— wait a moment or re-upload), it was too large or an unsupported type, or the safety check flagged it and it can't be used as a source.
Before & after
With exactly two image uploads, tick Before & after (the first upload is the BEFORE; swap if needed). Your photos are never altered or restyled — they are placed side by side with BEFORE/AFTER labels, or sequenced into a simple cut if video is on. The post copy still goes through the usual claim checks.
Your logo
Upload your logo under Brand → Assets. It is stamped in the corner of every generated image and video, signs the end of every outreach email, and heads your public lead-magnet, landing and testimonial pages. Two rules of thumb:
- Upload a PNG with a transparent background for the cleanest stamp. SVG can't be stamped onto generated media, so a workspace with only SVG files gets no corner mark; email also needs a PNG or JPEG.
- Kinds are used in a fixed order — a faded watermark is preferred for the media stamp, then logo, then wordmark; email and pages prefer the logo. A later real logo upload replaces a generated one.
No logo file? Make one from your name
Make one from your name on the Brand page sets your business name in type — several styles, typefaces and your brand colour — and saves it as a wordmark, so every surface above gets a mark without you needing a designer.
