The monthly video budget
Video is priced per second of generated footage, so instead of a count, each plan has a monthly video budget in dollars of provider cost:
- Free trial — $5.
- Starter — $20.
- Pro — $40.
- Business — $80.
It is separate from credits and from the image budget; a top-up pack doesn't raise it. Extra budget granted by support shows as Bonus video budget on Billing.
Storyboard vs. reel
A storyboard is a multi-shot cut (several short shots with one continuous voiceover and music) and is the normal video for a post. A reel is a single clip of up to about 8 seconds — the fallback when a storyboard can't be made, and what you get when you pick the ~8s (reel) length in Compose. Leaving Length on Auto lets the video director choose the runtime under a ceiling; a longer video spends more of your budget.
"Video hidden after quality review"
After rendering, frames from every take are reviewed against the post's message. A take that doesn't carry the message — the wrong subject, distorted people, unreadable text — is hidden rather than published; if a clean take exists it is chosen instead. This banner means every take was hidden. The footage already rendered, so its cost was spent; where possible a fallback image is generated so the draft still carries media, and you can regenerate the video from Compose.
"Video couldn't be generated"
The text post is ready and approvable, but the video step failed. The banner shows the recorded reason. When the budget is the cause the run is refused with: "Your monthly video-generation budget is used up. Upgrade your plan to render this video." A separate slate note, "Second video variant skipped", just means the optional second take didn't render — usually the same budget — and is not a fault with the first.
"Video audio is incomplete"
Videos are meant to ship narrated over a music bed. When a voice or music resource is missing the video still ships, and this banner says exactly which part is absent and what fixes it.
